HOLY STATE
We are seriously excited (and simultaneously sad) to welcome Holy State to The Rainbow on their last ever UK tour -  an audio-visual spectacular featuring live treats for your eyes and ears. The gritty post-punk merchants, from Norwich via Leeds, have decided to call it a day, after a mighty fine list of achievements since their formation 2008.

Accolades include split singles with Pulled Apart By Horses, Brontide, Suckers & Das Racist, shows with Oxbow & Melt Banana, tours with Rolo Tomassi, Blood Red Shoes & Biffy Clyro, as well as recently joining the ranks of Leeds’s finest Brew Records. Come celebrate the good times one last time.

Ex members of DAS BASTARD and Mr Derry unite in a shower of ugly, lurching riffage. Reference points include early 80s sludge and willfully abrasive noise rock (a la The Jesus Lizard, Pissed Jeans etc). Expect relentlessly pummeling rhythms, caustic feedback-drenched guitar and alpha-male inadequacy.

DISTORTED TAPES DJ SET
Distorted Tapes began life as a Midlands music blog back in the midst of time (also known as 2009), and has since transformed into a record label which has recently spawned its first release. With Distorted Tapes behind the decks expect to hear a healthy mix of grunge & post-hardcore, served up on a platter of feedback & distortion.
